imgresize.io is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to SSC, UPSC, NEET, JEE, RRB, IBPS, GATE, CTET, CUET, any passport or visa authority, any government, or any other organisation mentioned in presets. Names are used only to identify the requirement a preset is based on.

Dimensions and file-size limits in presets come from public notices and may be outdated, region-specific or misread. Each preset shows a “Stable” or “Verify” flag and, where available, a link to the official source and the date we last checked it. Always confirm against the current official notice before submitting anything.

The blur, lighting and background warnings are automated estimates. They can warn about a perfectly fine photo and miss a real problem. They are a second pair of eyes, not a guarantee of acceptance.

Recognised text can contain mistakes, especially with handwriting, low-quality scans or non-Latin scripts. Always review the result before relying on it.

Reducing a PDF saves each page as a picture, which can lower quality and removes selectable text unless the “keep text searchable” option is used. Keep your original file.
